Meteor Lighting Introduces Archi-Color® Pro, Advancing Architectural White Light and Full-Output Color Technology
Product Launch | August 03, 2026 | The Lighting Exchange
Meteor Lighting today announced Archi-Color® Pro, a new color technology built to deliver full-strength color and high-output white light from a single architectural luminaire.
The technology addresses a long-standing constraint in architectural color lighting. Traditional RGBW systems often force a trade-off between strong white-light performance and dynamic color capability, with output divided across fixed channels or white light dependent on RGB mixing.
Archi-Color® Pro is built around a proprietary RGBW quad-chip array developed by Meteor. The color chip is rated for up to 250W while operating at approximately 50W, providing a 5× performance reserve for improved thermal stability, color consistency, and long-term reliability. A dynamic power-distribution algorithm governs how output is allocated across the channels, so a single fixture can deliver 100% true white light or full-output color as the application requires.
Key benefits of Archi-Color® Pro include:
• 100% true white light or 100% full-color output in a single luminaire
• Dynamic power distribution that maximizes output across white and color channels
• Long-term color consistency
• Flicker-free dimming across scene transitions
